HackBallet emerges from lockdown with a platform of work in development that has evolved in response to the challenges of recent times.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the theatre live! HackBallet is proceeding with caution in response to the latest information about the current global health situation, and we would like to urge all performers and guests to do the same. Please continue to follow official health advice and take care of yourself and others. Be mindful that some people experience greater risks than others from dancing together – or alone!
EMANATE will explore intimate work with a focus on opening spaces for performers to explore what they have been missing and how they would like to develop, physically, creatively and emotionally. We have faced intense strains on our sense of community and connection as a result of the fractured and multifaceted response to the pandemic, at the most intimate levels as well as within our wider political context.
We invite you to explore our space and inhabit our dreams… as you are with us creating them.
